Flu/COVID vaccine UPDATE
Flu Shot's UPDATE!
Unfortunately, per the manufacturer, Sanofi Pasteur they will not be distributing any FLUBLOK for the 2023/2024 Flu season. They’ve indicated that due to concerns/discrepancies with potency, the FDA will not approve distribution of the vaccine.
While we are disappointed, there is no better option than to provide and receive FLUZONE Quadrivalent. We will be providing FLUZONE Quadrivalent for all patients 6 months of age and older and FLUZONE Quadrivalent High Dose for all patients 65+
COVID-19 Update!
We currently have Pfizer’s Comirnaty 23/24 formula and expect to receive Moderna’s Spikevax 23/24 formula this week, to be available to any established Pinon Family Practice patient 65+ y/o. As our supply increases over the coming weeks, we will update our parameters. Please watch for updates.
Additionally, we have a very limited number of Pfizer-BioNTech 23/24 formula available for the 6month to <5y and Pfizer-BioNTech 23/24 formula for the 5y to <12y, for established patients.
