PINON FAMILY PRACTICE - NEW PROVIDER!!!!!

Shannon is a certified family nurse practitioner and is a Colorado native, born right here in Denver. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She also earned her Registered Nurse degree and Masters of Science in Nursing at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Her background includes working 3 years as a registered nurse in hospice and home health in Boston and throughout Colorado as well as working 1.5 years as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner working in end of life care prior to her transition to pain management and Primary Care for the last 2.5 years. Shannon is very passionate that her patients be involved in their care. Her health care philosophy revolves around providing a holistic approach in providing care for her patients. She is passionate that her patients become well-informed decision-makers of their own care.

When Shannon is not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband and two English bulldogs. Shannon also enjoys skiing, golfing, working out on her Peloton, traveling, and going to concerts. She is very grateful to serve Littleton and the surrounding areas.
